Midaye provides targeted, multi-lingual services and projects to minority ethnic communities in London. We work hard to respond to abuses, improve the quality of education, the economic status, and the health and well-being of people within these communities.

Our services are diverse and are designed to provide wrap-around support for individuals as far as it is possible. They include:

  • A Grenfell support programme

  • Outreach and befriending services

  • A multilingual support, advocacy and information service

  • Supplementary schools for local children in both Ladbroke Grove and White City

  • A women’s community forum

  • Peer support groups in White City and in Ladbroke Grove

  • An FGM support service

  • Personal coaching and mentoring for those struggling with their emotional and mental health.

  • Health and education workshops

  • Exercise classes for women

  • Diabetes mentoring

  • A men’s group

  • A carers support forum

  • Employment support

  • English communication classes

  • Sewing, IT, volunteer and driving theory classes

  • A Bengali women’s group

  • A Nubian women’s group

  • A football group for local youths

Female Genital Mutilation

We work tirelessly to bring an end to the practice of Female Genital Mutilation and to offer compassionate and culturally-sensitive support to victims and those at-risk of the practice.
