In many (if not most) cases, women and children are forced to bear the brunt of the consequences of social isolation, poverty or family trauma. The consequences for many women in this situation is a severe impact on their physical, mental and emotional health. Midaye works to alleviate the pressure on women and help them rise above their circumstances by providing them with the support they need to build their confidence, develop new skills and start contributing more effectively to their families, financial circumstances, and community.
Our women empowerment projects include:
The Better Futures project provides one-on-one support and training and development opportunities for local women looking to improve their confidence and abilities. We provide sewing classes, employment support, driving theory classes, IT support, and volunteer training.
The Inspire Women's Project

Women's Well-being Support Club
