As we look forward to our event in line with International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation on February 5th, 2021 - we are called to reflect on our wonderful event that took place last February 2020…when we were able to actually gather with one another in one room to discuss this important topic!

For the event in 2020, we had an excellent mini-conference with excellent attendance! We heard from all of our partners in our successful now seven year partnership of midwifes, therapists, safeguarding officers, health advocates and enjoyed a wonderful performance by a Sudanese singer!

Overall, it was a fantastic day.

This years event will look different, as the event this year will take place online but it will be just as special! The event will take place on February 5th, 2021 from 12pm - 2pm.

We will hear from our expert partners, highlights of our work this past year and listen to powerful case studies from FGM affected women from multiple countries. The event will conclude with an exciting live performance from acclaimed Sudanese singer Mohamed Tawila!

It is open to professionals and the public and will be delivered in English. To get your free ticket, click the link to our Eventbrite page!
