Welcome Madli!
Now more than ever it is important to slot out a time just for yourself, in order to move your body and rest your mind. Yoga is a wonderful way to do that, offering significant stress relief while improving flexibility and muscle strength and it can easily be done from the safety and comfort of your home.
While it may feel foreign doing a class via the computer, you will quickly be comforted by the warm welcome from Madli, our new yoga teacher! Madli joined Midaye in September to run our weekly Yoga sessions for women on Thursday mornings at 11am – 12pm.
Madli is a Forrest Yoga teacher, who completed her 200hrs training in 2018 but has loved doing yoga since 2014! She is a warm and supportive yoga teacher, ready to welcome women of every stage and ability to every class, passionate about sharing the healing benefit of yoga. Madli is dedicated to her ongoing development and her classes focusses on a strong physical practice, offering deep healing for the modern woman’s common challenges such as a weak core, a fragile back, neck and shoulders, and a exhausted and overwhelmed nervous system. What’s important to remember with yoga, is that is about doing your personal best, at a pace and rate that your body feels good doing. Plus, the relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome. Yoga is known to also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia. When asked about why she loves practicing yoga, Madli shared that “every time I unroll my mat and start my practice it is like coming home and beginning a new journey of discovery all at once.”
Carve out a special hour in your week for yoga with Madli, and join us every Thursday at 11am!
